Brent - Thanks for writing. So true. "Hospitality" too often is about me as the host. My self-serving is rebuked by the lavish father in Luke 15 welcoming back his profligate son. Sure, there was some unexpectedness to it ("Quick! Bring the best robe ..." and the older brother's surprise suggest it wasn't choreographed with invitations sent), but the attention was about his son, effectively back from the dead. So much more I need to conform to here.
